Description: Capacitor is a cross-platform native runtime for web applications. From 6.0.0 until 6.2.2, 7.6.9, 8.3.5, 8.4.3, and 8.5.1, the Android and iOS WebView navigation guard validates a target URL's host and scheme but not its path, allowing a victim who activates an untrusted link to navigate a frame to /_capacitor_http_interceptor_. The native proxy can fetch an attacker-selected URL and return the response as a document at the application's own origin, allowing script in that response to access same-origin storage, cookies, and registered Capacitor plugin capabilities. Applications remain affected when CapacitorHttp is disabled because affected releases serve the proxy path regardless of that setting. This issue is fixed in versions 6.2.2, 7.6.9, 8.3.5, 8.4.3, and 8.5.1.
The CVSS Base Score is a score from 0 to 10 that represents the intrinsic severity of a vulnerability. A higher score indicates greater severity.
Database CWE: v4.18
CWE-346: Origin Validation Error ↗
The product does not properly verify that the source of data or communication is valid.
CWE-441: Unintended Proxy or Intermediary ('Confused Deputy') ↗
The product receives a request, message, or directive from an upstream component, but the product does not sufficiently preserve the original source of the request before forwarding the request to an external actor that is outside of the product's control sphere. This causes the product to appear to be the source of the request, leading it to act as a proxy or other intermediary between the upstream component and the external actor.

The EPSS (Exploit Prediction Scoring System) is a score from 0 to 1 that indicates the probability that a vulnerability will be exploited in the real world in the next 30 days. A higher value indicates a greater likelihood of exploitation.
The Percentile indicates how much higher this vulnerability's EPSS score is compared to all other vulnerabilities in the EPSS database. For example, a percentile of 0.90 (90%) means that 90% of vulnerabilities have an EPSS score equal to or lower than the current one.

The CISA KEV Catalog lists vulnerabilities that have been actively exploited in the real world. If a CVE is present in this catalog, it indicates that the threat is immediate and mitigation should be a top priority.
CVE CVE-2026-103922 is not present in the CISA KEV Catalog. This indicates that it is not currently classified by CISA as an actively exploited vulnerability.
