Born and raised in Siena, he is Head of Cybersecurity at the University of Siena. He has been working in the ICT field for over 20 years, using exclusively free software. Always attentive to privacy and digital civil rights issues, through his blog started back in 2000, he is still actively engaged in raising awareness of these issues.
