
Telegram opens an artificial intelligence lab in Kazakhstan
Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced the opening of a new artificial intelligence lab in Kazakhstan . The announcement was made in Astana during the Digital Bridge 2025 international forum. The lab’s first project will involve a collaboration between Telegram and the Kazakhstan supercomputer cluster , launched by the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence of Kazakhstan . This partnership aims to develop advanced technologies that will allow more than a billion users to access AI capabilities transparently and securely , with a focus on privacy. According to Durov, the Kazakh supercomputer cluster will serve as the primary computing power provider for Telegram’s AI network.
